Delete your account
You can delete your Vantage account at any time, taking your data with it. Two ways to do this — choose whichever suits.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
The fastest way:
- Open Vantage and sign in
- Tap the menu icon (top left) to open the sidebar
- Scroll down and tap Delete account
- Confirm — your account and associated data are permanently deleted
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app for any reason — lost device, signed out, anything else — send an email and we'll handle the deletion for you.

Include the email address you used to sign up so we can find the right account.
We process requests within 7 working days, usually faster.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:
- Your account profile and email address
- All saved locations and folders
- Custom presets you've created
- Notification preferences and history
- Accuracy ratings and shoot logs you've provided
- Beta code redemption history
- Push notification tokens
What is retained
A small amount of information may be retained for legitimate legal or accounting reasons:
- Subscription receipts — if you've ever paid for a subscription, the billing record is kept by Apple, Google or Stripe (whichever processed it) for tax and accounting purposes. Vantage cannot delete these from those services.
- Anonymised analytics — aggregated usage data that can't be tied back to you personally (e.g. total number of forecasts requested per day across all users).
- Email logs — if you've contacted support, those email threads may be retained in our support system for up to 12 months for record-keeping.
What happens to active subscriptions
If you have an active paid subscription when you delete your account:
- Apple/Google subscriptions — these are managed by Apple/Google. You'll need to cancel them separately in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings. Deleting your Vantage account does not auto-cancel your store subscription.
- Stripe subscriptions (web) — these are cancelled automatically when you delete your account.
Restoring a deleted account
Account deletion is permanent. There is no way to restore a deleted account or its data once the deletion has been processed. If you change your mind within 24 hours of requesting deletion via email, contact support immediately — we may be able to halt the deletion if it hasn't yet completed.
